The Peover Eye River runs right through the village and divides it more or less in half, between the boroughs of Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester. The Prince Albert Angling Society owns the rights to fish for trout for much of its length within the village. You must be a member to be able to fish these various stretches. An internet search should be able to tell you everything you need to know if you are interested.
